The farmer's life. The land of 5-rivers, population-wise the largest, and once known as the granary of east, Punjab is the lifeline of Pakistan and agriculture is the backbone of the country.
We went out of Bahawalpur to explore the historical sights which surrounds the city of Bahawalpur. Derawar Fort, Dera Nawab sahib, Panjnad and Uch sharif were some of the historical sight we visited.

The fort is believed to be built in 11th century by Gakhars in Potohar region far from the easily accessible paths, lying in oblivion and mourning its glorious past. The fort is built over the high ridges and protected by deep slopes. Now, its walls have disappeared from many places, but the grand beauty of the fort can be seen from some of the remaining doors.
