Bahawalpur is one of the major cities in Punjab. It is the 13th most populous city of Pakistan. Bahawalpur has royal history, and it is now developed as a metropolitan city. The fort is believed to be built in 11th century by Gakhars in Potohar region far from the easily accessible paths, lying in oblivion and mourning its glorious past. The fort is built over the high ridges and protected by deep slopes. Now, its walls have disappeared from many places, but the grand beauty of the fort can be seen from some of the remaining doors.
A December’s cold morning brought few class fellows back to University which they graduated four years ago. Time passed so quickly when they switched from student to professional life.
