The dish which has so popular in Afghanistan that it is considered as a national dish of the country. Emerging from Afghanistan, this dish is also popular among the Pashtun people of Pakistan. Kabuli Pulao is a rice dish consisting of steamed rice mixed with raisins, carrots, and lamb. This dish may be made with lamb, chicken, or beef & maybe decorated with raisins, orange peel strips, and chopped nuts like pistachios or almonds.

Onions (White & Small cubes)

Take a pan, pure oil and onions let it dark brown and takeout in a a dish and let it get cold. Now add mutton in the same pan and cook it for 3min and add the brown onions after grinding. Now mix it well and keep it on the stove till the meat changes its color to dark brown. Add all the spices above except the Cummins and add mutton broth. Keep the mutton in low heat till the broth left about 2 cups now boil rice but leave it a bit undercooked.
Take a pan, add carrots in it two tablespoons oil and one tablespoon sugar, simmer it till it get light golden and then add raisins.
Now mix the meat with rice well and add Cummins it and keep carrots &raisins on the top preferably at the corner. Keep it on a low heat for dum for 5-8min and then serve with some salads.
