A Night at The Spruce Resort: A Traveler’s Delight in Kaghan Valley

As I journeyed through the mesmerizing landscapes of Northern Pakistan, I found myself staying a night at The Spruce Resort in Kaghan Valley before heading towards Hunza. This brief stop turned out to be a delightful experience, particularly for a food enthusiast like myself.

Evening Tea by the River

Upon arrival, I was welcomed with a warm cup of tea and a plate of crispy pakoras. Enjoying these savory treats by the bend of the river was a highlight of my stay. The pakoras were perfectly spiced, and the tranquil sounds of the flowing river added to the serene atmosphere.

Delicious Fries

Later, I tried their fries, which resembled OPA Fries. While they were warm and perfectly cooked, they didn't quite match the iconic OPA flavor. However, they were satisfying and a nice snack to munch on while soaking in the beauty around me.

As night fell, I indulged in a sumptuous dinner at the resort’s restaurant. The menu featured chicken fried rice, chicken karahi, and white handi. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavors and cooked to perfection. The chicken karahi was rich and spicy, the white handi was creamy and aromatic, and the fried rice was the perfect complement to both dishes.

A Soothing Ambiance

One of the most memorable aspects of my stay was the soothing noise of the river, which provided a calming backdrop throughout my meal and well into the night. It was a refreshing change from the usual hustle and bustle of city life and added to the resort's charm.

Moving On to Hunza

The next morning, with a heart full of beautiful memories and a satisfied palate, I continued my journey towards Hunza Valley. My night at The Spruce Resort was a perfect blend of relaxation and gastronomic delight, making it a must-visit spot for travelers exploring Kaghan Valley.
