This Masjid lies at Hapakun Base camp, you will find it on your way back from Rush lake trek. The white patch in the middle ground in this view is Mayer Glacier. A stream flows just in front of this Masjid. The masjid has stone walls and a wooden roof. The floor is decorated with plastic mats and Ibex skin that acts as Jahe nimaz. On a cold day when you bow in front of Allah and go to Sajda, you will feel the warmth, partly because of the Ibex skin but primarily, because there is spirituality in this small room. You will feel warmth because you will feel close to Him. And though you may have bowed in front of Him many times in your past 26 years this time, you actually meant it. You would spend hours in this small room and still won't feel any urge to leave it and move on. And if you ever feel the way I felt in on 10th of August 2017, consider yourself lucky.
